Serve at UMCTO

Volunteer leadership and grassroots participation have driven the United Methodist Church  from the 18th-century beginnings through the modern era.  All ministry areas rely on spirit-led volunteers to be successful.  Volunteering allows us to use our  spiritual gifts and encourages engagement with those we serve and with whom we serve.  
Opportunities to volunteer within UMCTO vary from serving visibly in worship service to behind the scenes operations -- all in recognition that each of us has unique gifts and talents we can share.

Serve the Conejo Valley 

UMCTO sponsored two program that help our community with needs.  
  • Harvest Food Pantry provides food and resources for those who are food vulnerable
  • Study Buddies runs during the school year and provides after-school tutoring to elementary and middle-school students

We offer many opportunities to serve through organizations and ministries providing services to local Conejo Valley people, helping our local church serving ministries and connections to Methodist and other organizations serving California and the world.

Serving can be in a small or big role, can be in person or through technology, but is always impactful to those we serve and to you.
