Kid's Church
Children begin the hour in worship, then students and teachers move to classrooms and outdoors for interactive learning for ages 5 yr through 5th grade..
We welcome the whole family at 10:00 am in our sanctuary for worship service, including a dedicated children's time with age-appropriate lessons
After being dismissed for Kids Church, our children learn to love God and that God loves them. Our sessions are Bible based and follow our Methodist faith.

Vacation Bible School
In June we host VBS. Children ages 3-6
will enjoy a week of crafts, stories, and games all while learning about Jesus and

Hello! My name is Jamie Moran, and I am honored to be serving as Director of Children's Ministry at UMC Thousand Oaks! I believe all children deserve to feel safe, welcome, loved and wonderfully made - just as they are. We strive to provide a joyful, nurturing environment where children can be themselves, build friendships, grow in their faith and experience God's love in meaningful ways! We are so grateful to welcome your family into our church community, and we can't wait to grow, learn and have fun together!
