Be a Study Buddy!
Study Buddies is a free after-school tutoring program that supports elementary students with reading and homework in a caring, encouraging environment. While many of the students come from Glenwood Elementary School, the program is open to any child who could benefit from extra academic support.
Now in its 18th year, Study Buddies has helped well over 100 students build confidence, strengthen reading skills, and develop positive study habits. Study Buddies meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 - 5:00pm during the school year. Each afternoon includes snack time, recess, and a full hour of one-on-one tutoring. Tutors work closely with students to support homework completion and improve reading skills.
Volunteers are needed on both days: Activity supervision, 3:00 - 4:00pm / One-on-one tutoring with a student, 4:00 - 5:00pm
Training is provided and background checks will be required.

Harvest Food Pantry
Food insecurity is a reality in the Conejo Valley. The Harvest Food Pantry is open on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month. Volunteers are needed from 8:30AM to 1:00 PM to help with organizing and distributing food at the church kitchen.
