Discipleship Training

I have stored up your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.  Psalms 119:11

Sunday School Bible Studies: During the school year, Bible studies are held every Sunday from 10:15 to 11 am.  Middle School students in grades 6 through 8 meet in the Junior High Youth room; Senior High students, grades 9 through 12, meet in the Senior High room.  The classes focus on how to "Make Faith Real" as youth study the Bible together with knowledgeable, dedicated and enthusiastic teachers.

Thursday Night Youth Fellowship: Although fun activities comprise much of the program on Thursday nights, discussions and “games with a point” offer opportunities to continue discipleship training.  See the “Just for Fun” webpage for more information.

Cal Pac Camps: United Methodist summer camping programs are held for Junior High and Senior High students.  Details about the programs and the dates they are offered can be found on this website:  http://www.calpaccamps.org.  As their website says, “Our camps are week long, overnight, Christian based camps where your child will engage in worship, small group activities, large group activities and games. At summer camp, your child will grow in their faith, learn leadership skills, grow their self-esteem, develop inter-personal skills with peers and adults, make life-long friendships and have fun. They could also participate in activities, such as swimming, archery, ropes courses and many, many more.”

Lazy W Camps: Located in the Cleveland National Forest on the outskirts of Orange County, Lazy W Ranch is located just 15 minutes from the coastal city of San Juan Capistrano. Campers travel in small groups with caring, fun counselors, to a variety of activities.  They will spend time exploring nature, worshiping, playing games, learning archery, laughing, swimming, hiking, singing, making crafts, learning about God, living in Christian community and building friendships that will last a lifetime.  Details about this camp can be found on this website: http://www.lazywranch.org.
